Testing and Inspection
We take the guesswork out of compliance
You’ve invested a lot of money and time in your life safety systems. However, they can’t protect you if they malfunction. Inspection, testing and maintenance of fire safety equipment are also a mandatory requirement. Depending on your facility, fire safety codes may vary. It is our job to keep you compliant.
When you contract with Allegiant Fire Protection, we test the functionality of all systems and components. We completely document our findings, including any deficiencies and recommended repairs. Before we proceed, your account manager will follow up with any additional cost.
After our NICET certified technicians inspect your facility, we forward our complete report to you, as well as the local fire department or other authority. Testing frequencies depend upon local and state compliance requirements.
Allegiant Fire Protection technicians are fully trained, certified and competent to deliver any of these inspection services. You can rest assured that you are compliant with any legislative and regulatory requirements.
Our capabilities include the complete testing, inspection and repair of the following:
Fire Sprinkler Systems:
The local code, building occupancy type and different components used in a fire sprinkler system determine the inspection and testing schedule. Our NICET certified technicians follow the requirements outlined in National Fire Protection Association’s code NFPA 25, along with any additional local codes.
Fire Alarm Systems:
Your fire alarm system is critical to minimize fire damage and ensure the safe exit of building occupants. We will physically inspect and test the fire alarm panel and all other components of your fire alarm system. Upon successful outcomes, we certify that this testing was completed.
During a fire, a fire pump reinforces the public water supply. If sprinklers are activated, to keep adequate water supply, the pump needs to start automatically when necessary. A program of regular inspection, testing and maintenance ensures your pump performs this critical function.
These are your first line of defense if a fire breaks out. The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) requires annual inspections of fire extinguishers in the workplace. Our certified technicians will complete all required tests and inspections, tagging each extinguisher when testing is successful. We can also train your employees in proper fire extinguisher usage.
Emergency and Exit Lights:
If there is a fire, it is essential that building occupants can safely evacuate the facility. Emergency lighting and suitable escape route signage allows this to happen safely and swiftly. The same is true for power outages. Such systems must be serviced and maintained regularly.
Not all fire suppression systems involve wet sprinklers. We train our technicians in many types of fire suppression systems. To keep your suppression system in code, and to ensure it will work during an emergency, we will not only inspect and test your system; we can perform regular maintenance and one-time repairs.
